STOKE YOUTH was the Youth Section of the City of Stoke-on-Trent Amateur Operatic Society (COSAOS) (which had a long & proud history stretching back more than 100 years).
Stoke Youth was established in 1979, with the aim of providing enjoyment, education & training to young people with an interest in musical theatre (whether it be on stage, back stage or front of house).
In 2006 COSAOS wound up, and a number of members of STOKE YOUTH set up a new group called STOKE YOUTH MUSICAL THEATRE COMPANY.
Organised by a small committee of adult volunteers, working alongside young people, we aim to stage at least one full length musical each year as well as a number of concerts & workshops.
